Scientists try to simulate the Big Bang and the experiment gets out of control. While satellites come down and chaos arises, the stories of several people trying to survive is told.

Nina Wenzel used to be an undercover agent. After her sister's death five years ago Nina gets child custody of the three orphans and quits her dangerous job. In her new family-life she manages to retain some of her skills. When Wolf Geiger, the last person Nina imprisoned, escapes, Nina's old skills are needed again.

For this reason, the assignment to collect the debt on a personal loan from the family of a recently deceased farmer leaves her anything but cold. Klaus Gremme, a retired instructor with the combat swimmers at the Baltic Sea, sets off for Lake Constance to meet his son Thomas and his grandchildren. They don't know anything about him because Klaus left his wife and Thomas when the boy was still very young. Klaus takes up residence with Mona, a single mother whose house is across the street from Thomas'. She and her children, the overweight Linus and Claire, who has Down syndrome, slowly grow fond of the lone warrior. In the end, the rapprochement with his own family seems to have failed. But Klaus may have found a new, completely different family in this search.

Thomas has a problem: the single man has crashed a borrowed Ferrari into the wall without insurance and now needs a lot of money to pay for the damage. When he accidentally runs in front of the convertible of likeable photographer Lisa and ends up in hospital with minor injuries, his chaotic brother Andi has the idea that saves the day: a lawsuit for compensation for pain and suffering! The only unfortunate thing is that Andi forges the certificate for impotence of all things.

The film is about Steven who falls in love with Dana. But she only has eyes for the pop star Marc, whom his manager sends back to school because he thinks this is a good PR stunt.

Organic farmer Tanja Pohlmann is on the brink of financial ruin - can Billy Kuckuck help the family? As "one with a heart", Aglaia Szyszkowitz always sees her job as a bailiff as a challenge and an opportunity to help people in financial difficulties. Even if this means that she sometimes has to interfere in the lives of her current "cases". Fresh from the divorce court, Billy Kuckuck is hired by farmer Röschke to collect a personal loan from Tanja Pohlmann. Her husband, who recently died in an accident, had taken out the loan with Röschke to build the new farm store without her knowledge. The demand for repayment could mean final ruin for Tanja Pohlmann, who is already at the end of her tether and unable to manage the indebted farm.

It's the story of an old couple having a normal conversation ... well, more or less normal. The Wrong Krauses is a Filmakademie (Ludwigsburg-Germany) first year project from 1994.
