Madrid, Spain. When a religious community running an orphanage buys a car, the vivacious and intrepid Sister Tomasa accepts the task of getting behind the wheel.

After marrying a rich heiress, a young man from humble origins is dedicated to looking for coal in the surroundings of Gijón.

Maria is a young orphan who lives with her wealthy aunt. Maria sings in a cocktail bar with his friends, who form a rock band, and enjoy the night with them.
