Tigerenten Club is a German children's television programme. The programme involves a mix of games, quizzes, cartoons and outside reports from the presenters and children, with the aim to educate and entertain. It is produced by SWR in co-operation with other regional broadcasters, and is broadcast on ARD and KiKa. The logo and the name of the programme is based upon the Tigerente or 'Tigerduck', created by German cartoonist Janosch.

The three investigators want to go on a road trip during their vacation, but just as they are about to set off, the phone rings and an unknown caller hands the trio of detectives their latest case: the archaeologists belonging to the secret society Sphinx are carrying out illegal excavations and selling the stolen art treasures. Their next target is the supposedly cursed island of Makatao.

Since Mrs. Blok suffers from dementia, she rarely leaves the house and spends most of her day watching the family happiness of her neighbors: Eva, her husband and their two teenage children lead a harmonious family life after moving into the house next door and Ms. Blok takes a big emotional part of it. An emotional journey back to the 50s and 60s: Through photos and film footage from her childhood, the 48-year-old filmmaker Marie remembers growing up in bourgeois post-war Germany. Marie is once again confronted with the early death of her mother and the excessive demands of her conservative father. He has no understanding for her and deports her to a Catholic girls' boarding school. A youth characterized by constant rebellion against the mustiness of the post-war years and against a society that expects one thing above all from girls: to smile nicely into the camera and under no circumstances direct the film themselves!

A series of bizarre deaths shock the city of Hamburg: Mummified corpses are discovered in school basements. The local police enlist the help of Germany's most popular case analyst, Martin Gaitner. Inspector Danowski can't stand his colleague and doubts his theory of a lone perpetrator who was traumatized at school.

In Hamburg's Elbtunnel, a man is shot in the middle of a traffic jam in his car. The murder victim obviously belonged to a group trying to discover abandoned places first. The investigators suspect an act of revenge by a competitor.

When Emily catches her fiancé Frank with someone else a few days before the wedding and Paula realizes after an upsetting visit to the doctor that no one will be there for her nine-year-old daughter Lucy in an emergency, the two spontaneously order the posse in a two-girlfriends-against-the-rest-of-the-world moment.
