
Synopsis
Set in fascist Sicily, a shadow puppet performer is confined to a lonely island with a lighthouse for making fun of Mussolini -- until he's redeemed and rescued by a fortuitous event. Bonomolo renders this timely tale in black and white 2D with hints of storybook illustration and rotoscopy.
