Villagio interprète ces épisodes, basés sur des histoires de son propre livre, d’une manière que beaucoup comparent à Buster Keaton. Avec une production à petit budget, ce film était néanmoins extrêmement populaire en Italie.

Jeunes mariés, Alex et Nancy trouvent enfin la maison de leur rêve : un superbe duplex en plein cœur de Brooklyn. Certes, il va falloir casser la tirelire mais comment résister à ce petit bijou, la seule chose qui manquait à leur bonheur.
