Le quotidien d'une famille anglaise, excentrique et drôle. Le père, Ben Harper, est un dentiste misanthrope, et son épouse, Susan, travaille comme guide touristique. Étourdie et optimiste, elle aimerait bien contrôler la vie de ses enfants. L'aîné, Nick, 19 ans, a pris une année sabbatique pour... se vautrer sur le canapé du salon ; sa soeur Janey ne pense qu'aux garçons et au shopping ; surdoué, Michael, le petit dernier, enchaîne les relations amoureuses. Sans oublier Brigitte, l'assistante plutôt fofolle de Ben...

« Famille en réparation » met en scène Tim Allen dans le rôle de Matt, un veuf têtu qui possède un garage de restauration de voitures anciennes. Lorsque sa fille (Kat Dennings), avec qui il est en froid, et ses enfants emménagent dans sa maison, l'heure est à la réparation des liens familiaux.

Suite au départ de son meilleur ami et colocataire, fin prêt pour une vie à deux, Danny Beaman, un célibataire qui multiplie les aventures sans lendemain et qui s'en satisfait, fait la rencontre de Justin, le jeune propriétaire d'un bar qui cherche un appartemment... et l'amour, depuis toujours. Il décide de le prendre sous son aile, lui et sa bande d'amis qu'il surnomme les "Undateables" car ils sont tous moins doués les uns que les autres pour draguer...

On the Buses is a British comedy series created by Ronald Wolfe and Ronald Chesney, broadcast in the United Kingdom from 1969 to 1973. The writers' previous successes with The Rag Trade and Meet the Wife were for the BBC, but the corporation rejected On the Buses, not seeing much comedy potential in a bus depot as a setting. The comedy partnership turned to a friend, Frank Muir, Head of Entertainment at London Weekend Television, who loved the idea; the show was accepted and despite a poor critical reception became a hit with viewers.

The series was a spinoff of The Andy Griffith Show, and the pilot was aired as the finale of the fourth season of The Andy Griffith Show on May 18, 1964. The show ran for five seasons and a total of 150 episodes. In 2006, CBS Home Entertainment began releasing the series on DVD. The final season was released in November 2008. The series was created by Aaron Ruben, who also produced the show with Sheldon Leonard and Ronald Jacobs. Filmed and set in California, it stars Jim Nabors as Gomer Pyle, a naive but good-natured gas-station attendant from the town of Mayberry, North Carolina, who enlists in the United States Marine Corps. Frank Sutton plays Gomer's high-octane, short-fused Gunnery Sergeant Vince Carter, and Ronnie Schell plays Gomer's friend Gilbert "Duke" Slater. Allan Melvin played in the recurring role of Gunnery Sergeant Carter's rival, Sergeant Charley Hacker. The series never discussed nor addressed the then-current Vietnam War, instead focusing on the relationship between Gomer and Sergeant Carter. The show retained high ratings throughout its run.
