Synopsis
Black Silk is a ground breaking 8-part BBC drama series broadcast in 1985. Created by Mustapha Matura and Rudy Narayan, it stars Rudolph Walker as Larry Scott, a charismatic, politically ambitious, and fiercely driven Black barrister advocating for minority communities in London. The series primarily follows Larry Scott taking on tough, complex legal cases while balancing his career with pressing events in his personal and professional life. Alongside Scott, the show highlights key characters like his clerk Julie Smythe, played by Kika Markham, and his mother Marjorie Scott, portrayed by Mona Hammond
