The Book of Pooh is an American television series that aired on the Disney Channel. It is the third television series to feature the characters from the Disney franchise based on A. A. Milne's works; the other two were the live-action Welcome to Pooh Corner and the animated The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh which ran from 1988-1991. It premiered on February 9, 2001, and completed its run on July 8, 2003. The show is produced by Shadow Projects, and Playhouse Disney. This is the first Pooh show where Jim Cummings voices Tigger filling in for the late Paul Winchell. It was shown in U.K on a Channel 5 Block known as 'Milkshake!' as well as Playhouse Disney. It's run on Milkshake! ended around 2006 to 2007.

Quelques temps ont passé depuis les aventures mouvementées des 101 dalmatiens. Désormais, pour pouvoir vivre à l'aise avec toute cette incroyable fournée de chiens, Roger et Anita ont emménagé dans une ferme. L'histoire se centre essentiellement autour de trois chiots de la portée de leurs chiens Perdita et Pongo : Lucky, Rolly et Chipounette, qui vont faire les 400 coups et en faire voir de toutes les couleurs à leur entourage, accompagnés de Spot, la poule qui voulait être chien ! Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, nos petits amis vont être régulièrement confrontés à la terrible Cruella d'Enfer, de retour, et à ses deux sinistres comparses. La méchante femme rêve toujours de richesse et de se venger des chiens qui ont fait s'écrouler tous ses plans...

La série se déroule dans la ville fictive de Busytown et met en vedette principalement Huckle Cat, Lowly Worm et beaucoup d'autres habitants de Busytown. Chaque «humain» de la série est un animal anthropomorphe, le plus souvent des cochons, des renards, des races de chiens, des souris, des lapins, des chèvres et des chats. Chaque épisode comporte toujours un conflit (qui est finalement résolu à la fin). Cependant, des épisodes mettant en scène d'autres animaux anthropomorphes, comme Couscous capturant Pépé le Gangstaire et ses rats sales, Sam et Dudley, Sneef, Concombres et Cornichons, etc. ont eu lieu à l'extérieur de Busytown dans d'autres endroits du monde.

Le présentateur Neil deGrasse Tyson reçoit Chris Hadfield, astronaute et premier Canadien à avoir marché dans l'espace.
