
Synopsis
Just before the transfer window closes, eleven footballers sign up at the last minute for a sporting adventure in a tropical paradise. In one fell swoop, Frank de Boer, Ronald de Boer, John van ’t Schip, Richard Witschge, Kenneth Pérez, Wesley Sneijder, Ryan Babel, Mike Obiku, Kees Kwakman, Tom Beugelsdijk, and Jan van Halst make the switch to a new team. Their destination: Football Island. Led by presenter Frank Evenblij, the stadium heroes compete in a unique competition that no footballer has ever played before.
