
Synopsis
Girgity is a thrilling five-episode web series that explores the dark intersections of crime, corruption, and betrayal in a bustling metropolis. It begins with the brutal murder of a Chowdhury Group salesman on a remote highway, triggering a chain of killings that unsettle the city. Detective Maruf Chowdhury, known for his sharp investigative skills, is assigned to the case, even as his personal life-especially his relationship with Nazneen-takes a backseat. The plot unveils Mr. Mizan, a powerful drug lord running a corporate-style narcotics operation, whose network is being dismantled by these killings. Maruf soon uncovers a potential internal conspiracy. Just as the investigation heats up, a vital convicted disappears from custody despite having an alibi. As Maruf digs deeper, layers of deception, power struggles, and institutional corruption come to light, leading to a suspenseful and complex climax. —Bongo
