One of its closing themes, also entitled Vivan los niños, was performed by Cuban-American singer and songwriter Ana Cristina. The show is a version of the Argentinian telenovela "Jacinta Pichimahuida, la maestra que no se olvida". The series starred Andrea Legarreta as 2nd grade teacher Lupita Gómez. After the series ended, Andrea became the long-time host of the morning talk show Hoy. On July 12, 2012, in celebration of Andrea's birthday, the producers of Hoy reunited her with the young actors who played her students on the series.

This sitcom is about a Mestizo-Latino American family in P. Luche town. Ludovico and Federica P. De leurs côtés, Alfonsina et Augusto font tout leur possible pour mettre fin à la romance entre leurs enfants. Augusto finit même par obliger sa fille à accepter la demande en mariage de Gael, sans quoi il tuera Damián. Mais la belle Paloma, la meilleure amie d’Elisa, est elle-même éperdument amoureuse de Gael et vit l’annonce du mariage comme une trahison. Alors que Gael et Elisa se tiennent devant l’autel, Damián s’oppose au mariage. L’affrontement entre les anciens meilleurs amis atteint son paroxysme lors d’une violente bagarre, interrompue par une perturbante révélation : les deux garçons sont demi-frères du côté de leur père, Rosendo. La vérité éclate, Gael réalise enfin qu’Elisa et Damián s’aiment et il décide d’ouvrir son cœur à Paloma.

The Electric Company is an educational American children's television series that was produced by the Children's Television Workshop for PBS in the United States. PBS broadcast 780 episodes over the course of its six seasons from October 25, 1971 to April 15, 1977. After it ceased production that year, the program continued in reruns from 1977 to 1985, the result of a decision made in 1975 to produce two final seasons for perpetual use. CTW produced the show at Teletape Studios Second Stage in Manhattan, the first home of Sesame Street. The Electric Company employed sketch comedy and other devices to provide an entertaining program to help elementary school children develop their grammar and reading skills. It was intended for children who had graduated from CTW's flagship program, Sesame Street. Appropriately, the humor was more mature than what was seen there.

Muppets Tonight is a live-action/puppet television series created by Jim Henson Productions and featuring The Muppets. Much like the "MuppeTelevision" segment of The Jim Henson Hour, Muppets Tonight was a continuation of The Muppet Show, set in a television studio, rather than a theater. It ran on ABC from 1996 to 1998 and reruns ran on Disney Channel from 1997 to 2002. As of 2013, it is the last television series to star The Muppets characters.
