Synopsis
Harat Al-Mushriqa is a 2015 Syrian social drama set in a fictional urban neighborhood, deliberately stepping away from the traditional old Damascus setting. At its center is Shahira, a beautiful and complex woman whose world is turned upside down when she falls for a younger man- and everything changes. The series weaves together themes of espionage, culture, corruption, and social struggle, painting a rich and layered portrait of a community bound together by fate.
