From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Jenniphr Goodman is a film director best known for directing and co-writing the 2000 film The Tao of Steve. She received her B.A. in creative writing and film making in 1984 through Pitzer College. She is also a graduate of New York University's film school at the Tisch School of the Arts. In college, Dex was the big man on campus. Ten years later, now an overweight kindergarten teacher, Dex is immune to the shocked stares of the women who were once his conquests. While trying to pick up the bartender, he is struck by the gorgeous Syd. Through a series of circumstances, Syd and Dex are thrown together and he soon finds himself questioning his belief in all things Steve.
