Yogi Joshi (Kamal Sadanah) is the hardworking middle class student who goes to college with the traditional Pooja (Ayesha Julka), who is the daughter of a single-father. Kajal (Divya Bharti) goes to college and tries to park in Pooja's spot, but Pooja cuts her off. The two get in an altercation and to show Pooja how much power Kajal has, she drives her jeep into the corridors of the college and stops right in front of Pooja and her friends, including Yogi.

Sankaran who works as a sculptor meets Parvathi, a young woman, who earns a living by selling bangles and pearls and falls in love with her.

The story is about a college girl who is cheated and raped by her lover. She files a case against him but could not punish him for she needs a proof. Her elder sister who is a lawyer tries to collect the evidence but is caught by the villain, and when he tries to rape her the college girl who was seeking vengeance for destroying her future, shoots and punishes him in the climax of the movie

Brij returns to Ramnagar to ask Chandramukhis hand in marriage but is once again rebuked. He returns and goes on to become a great singer in Mumbai with Gitanjali by his side. All through he yearns for Chandramukhi as she yearns for him. How he manages to marry her forms the rest of the story.

The women of India have always accepted men the way they are, but this one woman is full of ego and pride and because of this she doubts her husband's character and comes across a crooked pervert man who because of his lust spoils innocent girls.
