The film narrates the fate of each of these runaways in search of their destiny - tough men with their own ethical codes and ready to do anything not to return to prison. Nora and Javier have been hired to transport a shipment of cocaine in an ambulance. With the help of Wendy, Javier's transvestite brother, they rob a part of the shipment and escape from the police. Moulded by loneliness, indifference and a lack of communication, Nora, Javier and Wendy are three youths with no future who move on the outer rim of society and are helpless in the face of a corrupt power. They hide in El Marquesado, a seaside resort built by the military on dynamited cliffs where Rodolfo and Mercedes, Javier and Wendy's parents, survive by rustling pigs and cows from neighbouring farms. The conflicts and tensions in this marginal family resurface as they are reunited in this remote place with a sinister past.

Paco knows that his mother died of a terminal illness when he was barely two years old, that his father, Alvaro, has remarried after a long period of mourning, and that his newborn sister will be with him for life. He has a strange tattoo on his forearm, and he knows it was his mother's last message before she left for the first time, because now he knows that death was a step after abandonment.

Friends get together in a country house and reminisce about the "good old times." Some now have grown-up children who accompany them and life is different... or is it? The story unravels quite well with good dialog and superior acting from the entire cast. The movie is philosophical without being bogged down by the some times heavy content. A very refreshing look at life, getting old, being free and always finding ways to share, appreciate and enjoy.

A young man is scammed by an engineer and an ex-hippie who promise to sell a glue that binds any surface he had invented and goes on a journey to the planet of the hippies

After their humble dwelling is destroyed by a fire, a marginalized family occupies an abandoned house. From there, they dig a hole to the vault of a neighboring bank.

After being fired from his job, Guillermo and his wife Silvana decide to move to the countryside with their daughter Romina. Along the way, they stop at a farm where they are welcomed by Bjorn, an eccentric Swede. The host's lifestyle awakens a certain "flower power" nostalgia in the couple, evoking fond memories of their youth. What they don't know is that they are being "captured" by a cult.

Love and friendship sustain the illusion, but passions soon run high in the closed environment of their cohabitation, giving way to the worst of human baseness and proving the ineffectiveness of collective action.
