Gas Planet is an in-house release from ANTZ co-director Eric Darnell with support from PDI's Character Animation Group. The look of Gas Planet reflects the organic qualities of hand drawn imagery while maintaining the 3D advantages offered by computer animation.
Gabola The Great is a not-very-good stage magician who struggles to entertain an unseen and unimpressed audience. First he produces an egg by sleight-of-hand, then a live bird from the crushed egg, but the bird flies off to a quick demise. The real disaster occurs when Gabola tries to pull a rabbit from his hat.
