Bilkis Banu lost her husband Hasan on the night of 25th March 1971. She tries to forget him and concentrate on the urban guerrilla movements of Dhaka with Altaf Mahmud, Shahadat, Mrs Khan and many more. But when spies and the razakars inform them, most of their people get arrested and Bilkis has to run for her life, towards her village.

Raju, Rauf and Ratan are friends. The three of them started a new business together. They get a contract from Rahman to supply materials for his construction site. While traveling by river they rescue Kusum from the river. All three find a girl alone in their boat and try to seduce her. On the other hand, Rahman's old business enemy Sharif attacks them so that they cannot carry their goods properly. They are determined to deal with these and complete their work on time.

A beautiful depiction of true love. Moina is loved by two people: Moti and Mona. Mona loves Moina in an unrequited way. Poverty makes their life complicated and the story continues. Finally, Mona sacrifices his life, showing his deep love for Moina and helps to reunite Moina Moti.

Puroskar is a 1983 Bangladeshi film starring Bulbul Ahmed and Indian actress Jayshri Kabir opposite him. It earned five awards at the 8th Bangladesh National Film Awards.
