Biography
Ryan McCann is an American actor, artist and producer. After a short stint in the NFL as a QB for the Cincinnati Bengals, he got his start in Hollywood when he produced and acted in the feature film Visioneers (2008) starring Zach Galifianakis and Judy Greer. Ryan has since appeared in numerous television shows working across the likes of Jenna Elfman (Accidentally on Purpose, 2009), Kristen Johnson (The Exes, 2014), Krysten Ritter (Don't Trust the B..., 2013), Michael Weatherly (NCIS 2010), and most recently Sterling K. Brown (Paradise, 2025). As a visual artist Ryan has exhibited in Hong Kong, Basel, Miami, Taiwan, and Madrid and is included in several institutional collections. Ryan's father John McCann was an American actor starting under the studio system in the late 50's for Warner Brothers and Fox and went on to amass over 72 credits in Film and TV . Ryan is married to TV director Karla Braun.
