Based on the journals of Che Guevara, leader of the Cuban Revolution. In his memoirs, Guevara recounts adventures he and best friend Alberto Granado had while crossing South America by motorcycle in the early 1950s.
SofĂa travels from La Plata to Los Toldos, her hometown. During her stay, SofĂa will assist her father, who is in poor health, with the funeral work being done by Casa Coraggio, the family business. In the history of her ancestors, each one has had to take on this responsibility and continue a legacy that spans more than 120 years. Amidst an atmosphere of life and death, SofĂa struggles between following tradition or choosing a new path.

Unglamorous, yet enchantingly addictive and refreshingly genuine, Acuña paints a confused and uncomfortable world, and makes us want revisit it over and over again.
