Sérgio Pedro Corrêa de Britto (Rio de Janeiro, June 29, 1923 — Rio de Janeiro, December 17, 2011) was a renowned Brazilian actor, director, presenter, and screenwriter for film, television, and theater. Considered one of the country's greatest actors, Sérgio Britto directed Ilusões Perdidas, the first telenovela produced and broadcast by TV Globo.

Manoela is employed in the home of Donato, an employee at a cosmetics factory, and Carolina.
