An episodic satire of the political and social status of Italy in the seventies, through the shows of one day of a television channel.

Isabella, a young model, is murdered by a mysterious masked figure at a fashion house in Rome. When her diary, which details the house employees' many vices, disappears, the masked killer begins killing off all the models in and around the house to find it.

Three sexy and comic episodes.

Enrico Bottini, an engineering student, prepares to serve as an officer when Italy declares war on Austria-Hungary. At the train station, he meets Garrone, an old friend from elementary school, and begins to reminisce on the values instilled to him by both school and his father.

In early 20th-century Sicily, Eugenia Di Maqueda and Raimondo Corrao discover on their wedding night that they are brother and sister and therefore unable to consummate their marriage. For the sake of the family inheritance and honour, the two decide not to reveal the truth to anyone. In public, they will play the part of husband and wife, but in private they will live in absolute chastity as siblings. Meanwhile, the beautiful Eugenia’s urgent carnal desires become increasingly pressing...

Mastro Geppetto is a poor carpenter with no wife and no children. The man is very lonely, and after trading a piece of wood with his colleague Mastro Ciliegia, decides to build himself a puppet to keep him company.

Bruno Fioretti, known as "Mandrake", is an inveterate gambler who never misses a day at the horse racing track in Rome. He is doubly unlucky: he bets too much on one horse, and his wife is sleeping with his best friend because Mandrake is always at the track. Penniless and cuckolded, Mandrake decides to make one last bet.

Amedeo and Ofelia, middle aged brother and sister, own jointly an old decadent, but still attractive, condominium. They want to sell it, but before they have to evict all the tenants. Of course, these don't want to leave at all. The cat (Il Gatto), mascot and beloved by all, dies and this gives the two an excuse to enter the tenants' life. Amedeo starts to court the young Wanda and Ofelia seduces the priest Don Pezzolla. In the meantime police is looking for the cat killer...

The film begins when Eugenio, a 14 year old child, is conduced from his grandparents home outside Rome, to Giancarlo (his father) in the city, by Giancarlo's friend (called "Moustache"). As Eugenio is bothering Moustache, he threatens Eugenio with leaving him in the middle of the country. He finally does it. When Giancarlo finds out, they return for Eugenio, but he is now lost. Meanwhile we're told the story of the child and his relation with the family, and why he feels unwanted.

Three episodes of casual erotic character: a porn scriptwriter and his secretary, a man locked up among homosexuals, and a shy man who decides to hire a prostitute over the phone.

Federico, Bruno, Pirro and Benny are married. The first three have beautiful wifes, Benny instead is married to a ugly woman. Ornella is Bruno's wife, she is very jealous and maintains that all men are deceitful, granted the opportunity, while Claudine, Federico's wife, maintains the contrary point of view. So they bet that Tosca, a former dancer, will succeed in seducing Federico.

Two men, business partners, fall in love with the same girl. Their wives react accordingly, but one seems to take it more calmly. This makes her husband suspicious, and he begins to believe that she is also having an affair, with his business partner. An inevitable series of misunderstandings ensues.

In Genoa, amongst the underclass living on the fringes of the law, Machedi organises the trafficking of women, to be exploited and sent off to who knows where. One of these women is Alda, who has evaded the ring once, but when her boyfriend is arrested, finds herself back in Machedi's net.

An average Joe becomes the poster boy for a book about Jesus due to his Christ-like appearance, but his meek and good-hearted nature ends up clashing with the publisher's earthly-minded motives.

This is a very light comedy involving multiple love triangles (or really more complicated geometries) of confused, mismatched, or ambivalent lovers. The script includes witty dialogue and humorous situations; most of all on display is the ridiculousness of the human compulsion to pair up.
