Crystal R. Fox is an American actress and singer born on January 1, 1964, in Tryon, North Carolina. She is best known for playing police officer Luann Corbin on the NBC/CBS drama In the Heat of the Night (1989–1995) and lead role Hanna Young in the OWN soap opera The Haves and the Have Nots (2013–2021). Fox made her big-screen debut in the 1989 classic Driving Miss Daisy as Katie Bell and later starred in the 2020 Netflix thriller A Fall from Grace. She has also appeared in Big Little Lies and The Big Door Prize, and currently plays Alice Andrews in the 2026 Netflix thriller series His & Hers.
