Biography
Riccardo Ghione was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and producer. In 1951, he co-founded "Documento Mensile" with Marco Ferreri, a filmed magazine intended to involve numerous writers and directors. Ghione made his directorial debut in the 1960s with films such as Il Limbo (1967) and La rivoluzione sessuale (1968). He continued to explore various genres, directing Il prato macchiato di rosso (1973), a film that blends horror and social commentary. Ghione's work is characterized by its engagement with contemporary societal issues and experimentation with different cinematic styles.
