Eels is an American alternative rock band, formed in California in 1995 by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Oliver Everett, better known as "E". Band members have changed across the years, both in the studio and on stage, making Everett the only official member for the most of the band's work. Often filled with family, death and lost love themes, Eels' music straddles a wide range of genres, which is evidenced with the peculiar musical style of every album.

Hombre Lobo: 12 Songs of Desire is the seventh studio album by American rock band Eels, released on June 2, 2009. Hombre Lobo is Spanish for "werewolf." On March 31, 2009, the band made the track "Fresh Blood" available on Spinner.com, explaining that the song would be the lead single for the album. A documentary entitled Tremendous Dynamite was filmed to document the recording of the album. The cover art is a tribute to the famous Cuban cigar brand Cohiba.

Live and In Person! London 2006 is a live album by Eels initially released on their 2008 An Evening with Eels tour as a CD and DVD. The album was later sold through Eels' online store. It documents parts of two performances in London from the Live and In Person! No Strings Attached tour on June 23 and 27 at the Astoria.
