In the mid-1920s, four young men and women have decided to spend their summer holiday studying together and have rented a wonderful house in the Swedish archipelago. Rationally, they realize that this cohabitation may lead to some of the members being attracted to one another. Thus, in order to avoid unnecessary passions, conflicts, jealousy, grief and enmity, the women sleep in a separate house on the other side of the creek. In spite of believing that they are prepared for anything, and even though they share the task of cooking, their feelings get carried away.

This short television work stages two performers reading excerpts from the Swedish Government’s Cultural Commission report (SOU 1995:84). Using largely unaltered bureaucratic language, the piece transforms the official text into a restrained satire of cultural policy and administration.

The past catches up with the present as Erica's discoveries leads to the missing Lucia, a secret love affair and a son seeking revenge for his mother.

A group of Americans who live together in an old mansion somewhere in Sweden spend their time between working at the local airplane plant and hanging out with their revolutionary friends. Smoke has something going with his boss's daughter, but when the boss finds out, he has some dudes beat up Smoke. This leads to a strike among the workers, and a break between the boss and his daughter who goes to live with Smoke and his friends. In order to save his job from angry stockholders, the boss offers Smoke a sizable amount of money to end the strike; but when Smoke and the guys spend the money on guns things get out of hand.

Arne Anka had been declared dead as a comic strip character since a few months back. However, by this time Charlie Christensen's (a.k.a. Alexander Barks) creation had reached status as quite a cult phenomenon, so the play must have been received with much anticipation and enthusiasm, so much so that it was filmed and subsequently released on video-tape.
