The story takes place on a quiet peninsula away from Buenos Aires, where more than the first generation of Russian Old Believers live, preserving their language, faith and way of life. The main characters are real opposites: she is an Old Believer who lives by the rules of the community, and he is a policeman, an emigrant from Russia, who knows no mercy for criminals. They were not destined to meet, but their paths crossed…

The adventure action film centers on a famous extreme sports blogger who, having arrived in Cuba, finds herself involved in the mysterious story of a document that disappeared many years ago, according to which America was supposed to return the Guantanamo base to Cuba. Both the special services and a serious businessman have been hunting for it for a long time. However, only her grandfather, former intelligence officer Leo Voronov, a retired KGB general, with whom she does not communicate, knows where this document is. In parallel with the action in our time, the film will also tell about the adventures of Voronov shortly before the Cuban Revolution in 1958.

Eleven comedic vignettes featuring conversations – some important, some less so – held in restaurants over coffee and cigarettes (how quickly time flies – cigarettes are banned in Russia’s restaurants now). The conversations are candid, and even veer into the territory of murder. In the final credits, the director apologizes to Jim Jarmusch, whose work (in the anthology Coffee and Cigarettes, which Jarmusch shot in pieces over many years) Oldenburg-Svintsov is clearly indebted to. Sex, Coffee, Cigarettes’s kinship with Jarmusch’s film extends to the fact that superstars play tiny roles in almost all of the vignettes.

Lyudmila Pavlichenko was only 25 years old when she became the most effective female sniper during the Second World War. Her meeting with Eleanor Roosevelt and delegates from friendly countries who decided to help the Soviet Union was a turning point for the course of the entire war.

A young man drops out of university and goes to the police. He's done nothing wrong he just wants a job. A particular job. Playing the victim in murder reconstructions. Maybe by getting close to death he can manage to cheat on his own.

The film follows two student cinematographers who, as the war approaches Moscow, refuse to be evacuated and instead volunteer to be front-line cameramen capturing the horrors of war and heroism of the soviet soldiers. At the same time, we witness another storyline taking place in the US. After the premiere screening of the already completed documentary “Moscow Strikes Back”, one of the members of the Academy Awards selection committee is trying to persuade his fellow colleagues to establish a new category of Best Documentary in the upcoming Oscars event.

Masha is over thirty. Rented apartment, no husband, no children, no lover. A few years ago, she conquered Moscow and shone on stage, but the years go by, and the body is not getting younger, and the size leaves much to be desired. Fate in the person of the “former” takes her to the foot of Elbrus, where Masha meets old acquaintances and new great feelings.

A lady-in-waiting tells the Emperor in his bedroom a metaphysical story about a 13th century prince who is killed in the woods under mysterious circumstances. Fairy tale characters who have witnessed the terrible death, all share their version of the events, gradually shedding light on what really happened.

This war drama is dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). It revolves around Pavel Zubov, a school teacher whose village was occupied by the fascists. Being a teacher is his calling in life. He believes in such basic human values as love and family. However, a certain chain of events changes the way he perceives life and leads him to a darker view of reality. In this time of war, as the enemy shows its true face, he must make an uneasy choice to either survive and adapt to the new regime or fight for his family, love, homeland, ideals, and beliefs.

This is a poetic film set in the times of Lenin's NEP. A ballet dancer steals a brooch and gives it as a present to another dancer. This is a crime of passion. A mysterious black ball is after the heroine. She runs away from it and manages to give the brooch in an exquisite pirouette movement, as shiny as diamond facets. What gives a stone its dazzling luster are its polished facets. But the real gem is love, and it's much harder to get than any diamond in the world.
