Duca Leindecker

In 1752, a ship arrives in Brazil, bringing doctor and writer Gaspar de Fróes. He keeps a diary about the dangerous trip, the diseases and hunger aboard, his impressions of the new country, and the political struggle between the crowns of Castela and Portugal. In Brazil, he is going to fall in love with the wife of a Portuguese officer.

Para resgatar um amor do passado, uma mulher vai até as últimas consequências. Retornando ao local dos antigos encontros, acaba por descobrir que o seu amor vive agora em família e tem uma filha de 10 anos. O tempo passa lento no encontro que parece não ter fim, mas assim que o constrangimento se torna insuportável, surge a grande revelação: de que o amor não tem mesmo limites.
