Rufus Butler Seder

A talented writer, Edgar Allen, arrives in Hollywood with big dreams but is quickly pulled into a world of madness and depravity. A detective investigating a series of murders discovers that they are similar to the murders that occur in the new script by Edgar. Who will survive and what parts will be left for them?

In 1972, as a first year student at The Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Rufus directed "Pernod Fils", a satire of heady foreign films with a completely fabricated language and nutty English subtitles. The film's star, Stephen Moore, a Berklee School of Music student at the time, also composed the music.
