The story of Zdeněk Troška's new comedy, which was inspired by countless stone jokes, takes us to a peaceful South Bohemian town. A whole range of typically Czech characters and prototype families live here with their unchanging rhythm. For example, the Nováks. Pepa's father is a captain of the city police, his wife Vilma is a teacher, his daughter Julia is studying health, and nine-year-old Pepíček comments in an unspeakable way on everything that is happening around. The boy literally starts to have eyes on top of his head when a noble couple arrives in Kameňákov from England, to whom the local castle was returned as part of the restitution. Nothing is hidden in a small town, and soon everyone knows that the lord has come here to look for his father's treasure. Such news will bring the whole of Kameňákov to its feet and literally keep three local mafia members, the rich Kohn, the handsome chief of police and the experienced criminal, awake. And then things start to happen...

Over a good meal, they discuss what should be done. The first prince suggests offering the dragon a few hundred subjects instead of the princess, the second believes that the kingdom has neglected prevention and that the dragon should be dissuaded, and the third prince has composed a song about it. But none of them wants to face the dragon...

Rather than following a conventional narrative, it presents standalone character portraits that collectively inspire creative artists to define and communicate their vision clearly.
This fairy tale, full of humor and suspense, begins in a small town where preparations are underway for a theatrical performance. The play tells a local legend about enormous riches hidden deep underground. Many long to find them, but those who set out in search of them never return. The play features two sisters, Kačenka and Barborka, as well as Jakub, a musician and Barborka's jealous boyfriend. The theme of the play also attracts the miserly lord of the castle, Bořivoj Hájek z Hájku, who arrives with his brother Ignác, an eccentric inventor and researcher. And somewhere underground, near the real treasure, sit his three ghostly guards, passing the time by inventing all sorts of pastimes, which the Lord of the Underground does not enjoy at all. His patience will run out the moment the bored guards interfere with human destinies, because of a bet on how the love between Jakub and Barbora will turn out.
The four adult heroes and heroines of the film, who were selected in a casting call posted on TV, speak candidly on camera from the very beginning of their memories. Through individual stories, they describe their childhoods, family backgrounds, life at school, and how they spent their free time. The stories complement each other and are intertwined; we see emotions and hear things that reveal the horrific DNA of domestic violence. The documentary addresses the issue of abuse with an emphasis on the entire social environment of the victims and the societal underpinnings. Typical of domestic violence is that victims often hide it within themselves; they do not talk about it, and sometimes they do not even admit it. But in the documentary, they were determined to speak out.
After the global collapse of civilization, part of Europe remains uninhabitable. People form small groups, surviving in safe zones separated from each other by strips of land where uncontrolled military technology creates deadly "traps." The only ones who can cross the dangerous territories are the "runners." The fate of several people who have decided to find a safe place for a new life depends on one of them.
