Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.

The soap opera tells the story of Júlia, a paleontologist who is searching for the remains of a marine dinosaur in Japan, when an earthquake kills her work.

In this romantic police comedy, after a luxury hotel is robbed by four of its employees, the lives of all people involved are turned upside down. With different motivations, they will do all they can not to be discovered, bringing all sorts of conflicts into the hotel. The confusion escalates when the detective trying to solve the case falls in love with one of the robbers, unaware he is one.

It was based on what happened in the city of Formiga, in Minas Gerais, where women work for large clothing manufacturers in the country. In Formiga Real, women guarantee a large part of their families' livelihood with this work.
