A Chinese diplomat is kidnapped from a conference in Genève and the world peace is at risk. The trail leads to a hiding place in Denmark and the Danish secret service brings in their best agent, agent Smith, who has been in a psychiatric hospital since his last assignment. The film then goes through a series of complications before Elin and Erik can finally get married and Ann-Marie is reunited with her daughters.

Every year, thousands of young men are summoned to undergo an education where completely different demands are made than in civilian life. The soldiers must be in perfect physical form and they must learn to deal with modern weapons.

Niels Pind is a drunkard who is exploited by some of the town's residents. This comes to an end when his son, Jens, returns from America with a lot of money. Jens buys the local estate and starts extracting gravel from the ground. He quickly gains a bad reputation in the area because he only thinks about money. Niels Pind disowns his son. However, Jens changes as he falls more and more in love with Ingrid.

Theodor Nielsen lives a peaceful life with his adult daughter Eva. Then the weather vane on the nearby church tower starts squeaking every night. Theodor goes to the priest, who refers him to the Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs, which in turn refers him to the municipality, which in turn does nothing. Theodor takes advantage of his side job at the radio station and tells all the listeners about the annoying weather vane. Theodor becomes a folk hero and is encouraged to run for municipal office. He is elected but is heavily manipulated by his party colleagues. However, Eva helps him get back on track.

A millionaire gets amnesia after a hit to the head and now he has to rediscover his past and decide what kind of man he wants to be in the future.

Caretaker Alf Thomsen's very effective "alarm clock" comes once again in operation, and has again succeeded in getting him up to speed, despite their incessant discussions back and forth. In inner Copenhagen, in the real old town, in greengrocer Mortensen's property right under Tagskægget, live three good friends: painter Richard Hansen, painter Steffen, sculptor Max, and their friend Louise Mørch. All three have something very boring in common: they are unknown and penniless. Suddenly, it seems that luck is smiling on them. Charlottenborg has accepted the painting that Richard submitted. Excited, he heads to the exhibition, only to discover that the selection committee has accepted the two packing box lids he used to protect his painting, lids that he uses every day to wipe his brushes on.

The German bear Fido from Münich is sweet, easygoing and nice, and just loves Danish soldiers. Thus, the bear marches together with the recruits and even wants to share their beds in this strange Danish comedy.

Sven Gjeholm is a writer of sex books. His wife finds this a bit odd, considering he's not really into sex. Since Sven can't get any peace to write his books because of journalists and other curious folks who want to see how a sex writer lives, he decides to move to the small Norwegian town of Mårböosen. However, the town's residents have already heard about Sven and his writing, and he is not welcomed with open arms. Soon, however, the town's residents realize that Sven attracts a lot of tourists, and when Sven decides to flee once again, good advice is hard to come by. Sven has no choice but to stay in town.
