TAXA is a Danish television drama made by Danmarks Radio with 56 episodes, written by Stig Thorsboe and produced by Rumble Hammerich. The series revolves around a small taxi central, CrownTaxi, in Copenhagen. The series was a success from the start, 14 September 1997 on DR1. The series was broadcast during the period 1997-1999 for a total of five series. CrownTaxi has its ups and downs and in the course of the series, following the various drivers, radio opertor Lizzie and boss Verner Boye-Larsen. They have all their problems both with clients and family life and constantly threaten the show's villain Hermann from the competing taxi firm, City Car, which wants to take over the CrownTaxi. TAXA was also screened in Sweden on SVT1.

Zulu Djævleræs is a Danish reality television programme, currently hosted by Julie Ølgaard. Every episode consists of 3 heats. The first two heats consists of all-men and all-women driving against each other. In the third heat, "Djævleheatet", the couples themselves choose who is to drive. This heat includes obstacles, which change from episode to episode. In the third heat the drivers fights for double points.

Jesper Jensen is a successful IT salesman who stops at nothing, even if it means backstabbing his best friend. Being number one in the company and having a beautiful wife and a lovely home, Jesper seems to lead a perfect life, but one day his arrogance and self confidence hits him in the face like a boomerang and he loses everything overnight. Jesper is sentenced to do community service at a recycling center with the odd and funny characters Dion, Theodor, and Lotte. At first he looks down on these people and doesn't want to be associated with them. When he begins to loosen up, however, he discovers that he can learn a lot from their straight forward and honest approach to life.

While changing the pipes in the tanningbeds at Golden Sun, Tommy meets the owner. A middleaged former Miss Fyn called Susse. Slowly an unusual love affair begins. Tommy's two friends Ole & Flemming give him tips on how to give Golden Sun some masculine appeal. Susse just happens to have a sleazy lawyer that does not appreciate the new look.

Anja is a beautiful and very well proportioned high school senior... and still a virgin. She insists that she wants her first time to be with a guy, who knows what it's about. Her rich (and arrogant, pretentious and obnoxious) boyfriend Peter serves the purpose, and he's more than willing. In fact, he's pushing forward as much as he can, but Victor, a freshman who has a serious crush on Anja, has other plans. Her first time should definitely not be with this buffoon, and he's ready to take it VERY far!

Denmark in the 70's. The teenager Christoffer's parents Nisse and Maria have decided to move into a commune because they want to try the alternative lifestyle. But Christoffer doesn't like it and has trouble adapting. In school the others tease him because he lives in a commune. As a plan from the elders in the commune he starts in a Maoist group to learn about the real ways of the society. He doesn't like it but when his new girlfriend starts to see what he does as cool he goes into it. But at the same time the police start to suspect him to be the terrorist who blows up telephone booths around Copenhagen.

Karla met Jonas during a summer vacation at the lake. After being unable to stop thinking about him and their kiss she phones him, making up a school assignment about children living in an orphanage, which is precisely where Jonas lives.

Finally, Viktor becomes a fireman, while Anja still do not have the great success of the advertising agency. Fortunately, they have each other and everything is bright as Anja gets a great opportunity at the office while being pregnant. Then Viktor just figure out how to be soft father, understanding man and tough firefighter at once. But how hard can it be?

They live with their young daughter in their friends' dilapidated rehearsal space in Sydhavnen, but when the zealous municipal official discovers that they are using the rehearsal space as a residence, and they are now facing eviction unless they can secure funds for an apartment, the family finds itself in a challenging situation.

For the last ten years 40-year-old Jeppe has paid daily visits to the nursing home where his crippled wife, Tove, has been put after a serious traffic accident to remain for the rest of her life. Desperate about this meningless fate, Jeppe has put everything else in life aside and has chosen to be faithful and devoted to her. But this cannot go on, his pseudo-life becomes too much for his crippled wife. She pretends to be in love with her male nurse and throws Jeppe out.

John, 52, is a long-distance driver and lives alone after his wifes death. The daughter Mia, 21, has moved out. After a long-distance drive John is on his way home and makes a call at the local gas station. He buys Christmas beers, a bag of frozen hash and rents a pornomovie. When John gets home he puts on the video. To his worst fear and surprise, he sees his daughter Mia, whom he hasn't really spoken to in several years, being the pornstar in the movie. Johns discovery is the start of his kind-hearted but clumsy attempt to revive the contact with his daughter.
