UFC Fight Night 30: Machida vs. Munoz was a mixed martial arts event held on October 26, 2013 at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom. The event was expected to be headlined by a middleweight bout between top contenders Michael Bisping and Mark Muñoz. However, on September 27 Bisping pulled out of the bout with an eye injury and was replaced by Lyoto Machida.

Headlining the card was a non-title catch-weight (175 lb) match between Matt Hughes, former UFC Welterweight Champion, and Royce Gracie, the champion of UFC 1, UFC 2 and UFC 4. This was Gracie's first match in the UFC and in the United States since UFC 5.

The main event between Tim Sylvia and Assuerio Silva was touted as a match to determine the next contender for the UFC Heavyweight Championship, then held by Andrei Arlovski.

UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on October 8, 2011, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

UFC Fight Night 37: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa was a mixed martial arts event held on March 8, 2014, at The O2 Arena in London, England. A bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa headlined the event. UFC President Dana White initially announced that a bout between Gustafsson and Antônio Rogério Nogueira would be headlining the event. However, just 5 days after the fight was announced news came that Nogueira had to withdraw from the bout due to an injury. Later, reports came that said that Nogueira had never agreed to take the fight against Gustafsson at all.

The Ultimate Fighter 2 Finale was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on November 5, 2005. Featured were the finals from The Ultimate Fighter 2 in both the Welterweight and Heavyweight divisions as well as a main event between Diego Sanchez and Nick Diaz.
