Eric and Kurt Sloane are the descendants of a well-known Venice, California-based family of martial artists. Kurt has always been in older brother, Eric's shadow, as he lacks the instincts needed to become a champion. Against Kurt's concerns, Eric accepts a paid offer and travels to Thailand to challenge the Muay Thai champion Tong Po and fails with dire consequences. Kurt sets out for revenge. He trains with his brother's mentor, Master Durand, for a Muay Thai fight against the merciless champion, Tong Po. Durand first thinks Kurt is impossible to train, but through a series of spiritual exercises and tests, Durand discovers that Kurt has a deeper strength that will carry him through his final showdown with Tong Po.

If Nick Barrow can stay alive for 21 days, he'll die happy. Everyone Nick knows wants him dead; Mob bosses, contract killers, and dirty cops. Performing the last act of a desperate man, Nick takes out a million dollar insurance policy on himself, payable to his estranged daughter. The problem? The policy doesn't take effect for 21 days. Nick knows they'll be lucky to be alive for twenty-one hours.

Crown Jewel is a professional wrestling pay-per-view and WWE Network event produced by WWE for their Raw and SmackDown brands. It will take place at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event will be the fourth event held under WWE's 10-year partnership in support of Saudi Vision 2030 and will be the second WWE event promoted under the Crown Jewel chronology.

AAA's largest annual event took place on August 3, 2019, at the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. It was the eighth consecutive Triplemanía to be held at the arena, and marked the 27th year in a row that AAA had held a Triplemanía show, and the 32nd overall show held under the Triplemanía banner since 1993.

UFC 200: Tate vs. Nunes was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on July 9, 2016, at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. This event suffered a major hit only three days before it happened, as it was announced that Jones was pulled out by USADA due to a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection on June 16. Cormier declared he would still fight if an opponent brought to him "made sense". It was announced that former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva would replace Jones on less than two days' notice and face Cormier in a three-round non-title light heavyweight bout. Due to those major changes, the already scheduled UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship bout between then champion Miesha Tate and top contender Amanda Nunes was revealed as the new main event.

In a Texas border town, car salesman Charlie moonlights as a masked Lucha libre wrestler going by the name “Green Ghost.” When unknown assailants arrive seeking an otherworldly emerald, Charlie discovers that he has super powers. As he learns to fight from the unconventional Master Gin, Charlie is told that he’s part of a secret warrior “triad of light” with his childhood friend Marco and Marco’s sister Karina led by La Nana. Together, they’ve been chosen to protect humanity from Drake, the embodiment of the Mayan apocalypse.

The event was originally scheduled to take place on October 10, 2020 but was postponed and later cancelled on November 30 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, on October 18, 2021, AAA announced that the event would be occurring on December 4 at the Estadio de Béisbol Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.[2] It marked the 29th year in a row that AAA has held a Triplemanía show, and the 36th overall show held under the Triplemanía banner since 1993. The annual Triplemanía show is AAA's biggest event of the year, serving as the culmination of major storylines in what has been described as AAA's version of WrestleMania or their Super Bowl event.

UFC 83: Serra vs St-Pierre 2 was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The event was held on April 19, 2008, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. UFC 83 was the UFC's first event in Canada. It was headlined by UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Serra and UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre in a match to unify the championship.

UFC 160: Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2 was a mixed martial arts event held on May 25, 2013, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event was a rematch between former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez and Antônio Silva. In their first encounter at UFC 146 a year earlier, Velasquez defeated Silva via first-round TKO.

UFC 146: dos Santos vs. Mir was a mixed martial arts (MMA) pay-per-view event (PPV) promoted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on May 26, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card featured five MMA bouts which were shown on PPV, as well as seven preliminary bouts which were shown on FX, and Facebook. This was the first time in UFC history that the main card featured all heavyweight bouts.

UFC 188: Velasquez vs. Werdum was a mixed martial arts event held on June 13, 2015, at Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. The event was headlined by a UFC Heavyweight Championship unification bout between then champion Cain Velasquez and then interim champion Fabrício Werdum.

UFC 99: The Comeback was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on June 13, 2009 in Cologne, Germany. It was the first UFC event held in Germany, as well as the first in mainland Europe (events have previously been held in both the U.K. and Ireland). The main event was a catch weight bout between Rick Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva.

Lucha Libre AAA Invading New York was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced and scripted by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA or Triple A), in partnership with Impact Wrestling. The event took place on September 15, 2019, at Madison Square Garden's Hulu Theater in New York City, New York. The event aired live on traditional PPV outlets and FITE TV in the US.

Strikeforce: Tank vs. Buentello was a mixed martial arts event held on October 7 2006. The event was held by Strikeforce and took place at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. This event featured the debut of future UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez.

UFC Fight Night 14: Silva vs. Irvin was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on July 19, 2008, at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event marked Anderson "The Spider" Silva's first foray into the Light Heavyweight division, facing James "The Sandman" Irvin.

UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on October 23, 2010 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, United States.

UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on November 12, 2011 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The event was the fifth that the UFC has hosted in Anaheim.
