Jiří Hálek, his native name Hugo Frischmann (* September 10, 1930 in Prague) is a Czech actor. After studying at DAMU in Prague, he first worked briefly in Ostrava at the Municipal Youth Theater, [2] then served basic military service in the army ensemble "Winning Wings", after playing military service in Mladá Boleslav from where he then went to the Paravan Theater. From 1965 until 2002 he was a member of the ensemble at the Prague Drama Club. It is an actor of small body growth, a distinctive profile in the face, as well as a distinctive voice speech. He debuted in Czech film in 1948 in the film Crossroads of Life, then performed in a number of predominantly minor roles, for example in Marek, give me a pen! or How the world comes to the poets. Thirty Cases of Major Zeman is a Czechoslovak action-drama television show intended as a political propaganda to support the official attitude of the communist party. The series were filmed in the 1970s. Each episode encompasses one year, and investigations are stylized to that year. Most are inspired by real cases. The series follows the life of police investigator Jan Zeman during his career from 1945 to 1975.

During the change of functions in the Fortuna medical ceramics company, Bohouš Fisher, an independent clerk, became deputy director of the company against his will. As a result, he is forced to make even greater compromises than before. He takes part in unnecessary meetings for which he has to raise money from company funds because of his position, or he jocularly solves a "work" accident of two employees who were engaged in love games instead of work. It's not much better in his private life. He would like to do some meaningful work, like building a stove.

However, he accidentally kills another woman. In "Hostages", a drug addict, Chaban, terrorizes the hospital's operating team, but the disciplined doctors handle the difficult situation. In "The Pickpocket", the thief Benda wants to return to his trade immediately after his release, but his attempt ends tragically.
