UFC 105: Couture vs. Vera was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on November 14, 2009 in Manchester, England at the Manchester Evening News Arena. This event aired on the same day, via tape delay, on Spike in the U.S.

UFC on Fuel TV 5: Struve vs. Miocic was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on September 29, 2012 at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England.

UFC 99: The Comeback was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on June 13, 2009 in Cologne, Germany. It was the first UFC event held in Germany, as well as the first in mainland Europe (events have previously been held in both the U.K. and Ireland). The main event was a catch weight bout between Rick Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva.

UFC 89: Bisping vs. Leben was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on October 18, 2008 at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England. The event was headlined by a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Chris Leben.

UFC 95: Sanchez vs. Stevenson was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on February 21, 2009, at The O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom. The main event was a lightweight match-up between Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Stevenson.

UFC 146: dos Santos vs. Mir was a mixed martial arts (MMA) pay-per-view event (PPV) promoted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on May 26, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card featured five MMA bouts which were shown on PPV, as well as seven preliminary bouts which were shown on FX, and Facebook. This was the first time in UFC history that the main card featured all heavyweight bouts.

UFC Fight Night 24: Nogueira vs. Davis was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on March 26, 2011 at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. Dana White alerted followers on Twitter that Tito Ortiz had to pull out of his fight with Antônio Rogério Nogueira, after receiving a severe cut on his forehead, and would be replaced by Phil Davis.

PFL 2025 World Tournament: First Round 1 took place on April 3, 2025, at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Florida. This mixed martial arts event features the opening round of the Welterweight and Featherweight divisions in PFL’s single-elimination world tournament. The main event pits former Bellator Welterweight Champion Jason Jackson against Andrey Koreshkov, while the co-main event showcases Jesus Pinedo vs. Adam Borics in featherweight action. Other notable bouts include Magomed Umalatov vs. Logan Storley and Jeremy Kennedy vs. Movlid Khaybulaev on the main card, with prelims featuring Gabriel Braga vs. Frederik Dupras and Nathan Kelly vs. Tae Kyun Kim.

UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lytle was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on August 14, 2011, at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Karl Tanswell has been involved in martial arts and combat sports most of his life. He raised title winning athletes as Head Coach and Director of SBG UK and the SBG Manchester Fight Team. He is known as an innovator within MMA and has been involved from the early roots of the sport's evolution. This short film is about Karl, and his legacy.
