Pauw & Witteman is a Dutch late-night talk show, hosted by Jeroen Pauw en Paul Witteman. It is generally focused on current affairs and politics. It is broadcast every weekday at 11 pm on Nederland 1. It is produced by Dutch public broadcasters NPS and VARA. During summer Pauw & Witteman are replaced by Knevel & Van de Brink, a talk show hosted by Andries Knevel and Thijs van den Brink, produced by the dutch evangelical broadcasting company, the EO.

Dutch version of the reality singing competition in which talented young solo singers between the ages of 7 and 14 wow coaches and audiences alike in a bid to become the next big thing!

Idool is the Belgian version of the Idol series. The series was launched in late 2002 by Belgian television network VTM. The contestants are first narrowed down to 100 contestants, and then down to 30-50 through several auditions and tests by a panel of judges. From this point on, the viewers decide who are in and who are out, and the judges limit themselves to commenting. TV viewers being what they are, the votes are based not solely on the singers vocal performance, but also on his or her looks, clothes, entertainment value, and other factors.

Every episode, one interesting Belgian visits "The House" ("Het huis") for 24 hours. In this imposing house with a pool, surrounded by a forest, in an unknown location, the visitor is "locked away" from the rest of the world for 24 hours. The rangers get a surprise visit from their fellow ranger Alwin, who has just returned after spending a year in India. But Alwin hasn’t come back without reason — he needs their help. In India, a herd of elephants has mysteriously disappeared. The rangers don’t hesitate for a moment and travel to India to help find them. Once there, it quickly becomes clear that the elephants have been kidnapped by ivory smugglers. The rangers decide to split into two groups: one heads deep into the jungle to track the elephants, while the other travels to Mumbai to follow the smugglers' trail. In their daring rescue mission, the rangers face not only danger and deception — they also somehow end up in the middle of an actual Bollywood film...
