Damien Wayne Echols is an American writer and ceremonial magician based in Harlem, New York. He is best known as one of the West Memphis Three, a group of teenagers controversially accused and convicted of a triple murder in 1994. Since his release from death row in 2011, Echols has authored several autobiographies and spiritual books.
