From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Aristomenis Tsirbas (born 1967, Montreal, Canada) is a film director, producer, writer, animator and visual effects animator. He is well known for directing the award winning short films The Freak and Terra which was adapted into the 2007 feature film of the same name produced by MeniThings Productions and Snoot Entertainment. Known For

A peaceful alien planet faces annihilation, as the homeless remainder of the human race sets its eyes on Terra. Mala, a rebellious Terrian teenager, will do everything she can to stop it.
Battle for Terra

Fact-based story about 300 predominantly black sailors who were killed on July 17, 1944 while loading munitions on a ship in San Francisco. Three weeks later, 50 survivors were court-martialed for refusing to load another shipment. The men cited the Navy's lack of care for their safety.

The Freak is a warped mutation that lives in the hum-drum city of symmetry and order where the "normal" inhabitants plod through their daily grind like Sims. He emerges from the sewers one day to dance in the streets and is immediately thrown into jail. There, the Sims study him in a dungeon reminiscent of that in "Brazil" and populated with other Freaks. He is given two pictures to choose from # a normal one and a freakish one. Of course, "The Freak" always chooses the freakish one, and because of this he is thrown into a padded cell.
