The Pacific League pennant race continues to be fiercely contested. However, due to Tabuchi's continued poor performance, the Lions are on a losing streak. With Yasuda showing up at the stadium with his resume and Nomura suddenly becoming more energetic after being inspired by Dokaben's words, Tabuchi's presence is becoming less and less noticeable. Desperate, Manager Nemoto and Owner Tsumori try to highlight Tabuchi's charm by organizing "Tabuchi Day," but it ends in a complete failure. Just then, Mrs. Miyoko unexpectedly appears as a cheerleader.

Rainbow Brite, and her magical horse Starlite, must stop an evil princess and her underlings from taking over the planet Spectra. When they meet Orin, the wise Sprite tries to make the two children get along and work together to stop the evil Princess. Orin tells them that they can only destroy her by combining their own powers against her. There were rumors of Tabuchi being traded during the offseason, but he left for overseas training camp in good spirits. However, Yasuda followed him all the way to Arizona, and it seems that this year will be another bad one for him. Once the season started, he was easily outplayed by Nippon Ham's rookie Kida, and things did not look good for him. As expected, the Seibu Lions missed out on the championship, and the 1980 pennant race came to an end.

The Seibu Lions baseball team makes it to the next round of a baseball tournament thanks to the heroic efforts of its star player, Tabuchi, but the next stage will involve hard work and cooperation.

On their way to New York City for the Fourth of July, a storm forces the Littles to crash near the Statue of Liberty. Inside the statue they discover a community of French Littles ruled by a General. The French Littles wake up to the world around them and realize they have been living without the most important thing to them -- Liberty. The General is arrested and promised a fair trial and the French Littles start making plans for elections to guarantee nothing like this will happen again.

Lady Lovely Locks and the Pixietails is a character property created by American Greetings Corporation in the mid-1980s. The characters were licensed for a toyline by Mattel, and for a syndicated animated television series by DiC in 1987. However, only 20 episodes were produced in all.

Henry's parents are lost in Africa, so he must live with his greedy and heartless Uncle Augustus. In the crevices of the house live the "Littles" kind, elf-like creatures. August enslaves Henry and wants to tear down his house to build a shopping center. Grandpa Little cares for Tom and Lucy, the Littles' children. Tom befriends a vicious cat by removing a splinter from his paw. After a series of adventures, the Littles and Henry get evidence of Augustus' plot to steal Henry's home. Augustus is arrested, the house is saved, and all ends well.
