Biography

Carol Mitchell-Leon was an American actress. Mitchell-Leon was married to Atlanta director Kenny Leon from 1987 to 1998 and taught in the drama department of Clark Atlanta University. Acknowledged as one of the city's finest stage actresses, she also had a number of film credits, including Tyler Perry's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" and "Fried Green Tomatoes."
