Boyett, the series stars the Smollett siblings: JoJo, Jazz, Jussie, Jurnee, Jake, and Jocqui. In the O'Fallon Park neighborhood of St. Louis live the Jerrico family, consisting of seven kids: Josh, Jimi, Jai, Jesse, Jordee, Joc, and Jarreau. Six months ago, a car crash killed their parents. Since then, they have been raised by Josh, who often crossdresses as 'Aunt Jelcinda' to evade intervention from social services.
