Dramatization of the 1932/33 Test cricket series between England and Australia. Played in Australia, the series gained notoriety in Australian and worldwide cricketing history for the fact that the English team (headed by captain Douglas Jardine) applied a bowling technique called "leg theory", or more commonly, Bodyline. This technique involved bowlers bowling the ball directly at the batsman's body, and resulted in many of the Australian team receiving numerous bruises and injuries, with batsman Bert Oldfield sustaining a cracked skull. The series generated much anger and resentment towards the English team within Australia and seriously damaged Anglo-Australian cricketing relations at the time.

The two must contend with dangerous German spies as they struggle to keep Edison's top secret new invention out of the hands of hostile enemy agents. To keep him from getting into any more trouble, Indy is sent to visit his aunt in New Mexico. While there, he is kidnapped by Pancho Villa and swept into the Mexican Revolution. Chaotic, free-wheeling border towns, a "Wild Bunch" style train robbery and a colorful barroom encounter with a young George Patton make for thrilling entertainment in this action-packed movie.

Charlie Cole and his grandson Pete Jarrett travel around outback Australia in a beaten-up ute, finding itinerant work along the way. In each place they befriend locals and become involved in an adventure, culminating in their solving a mystery, crime or local conflict. THE OUTSIDERS was the name of an Australian-German co-production which was made in Australia in 1976. It starred Andrew Keir as Charlie Cole and German actor Sascha Hehn as Pete Jarrett. It also featured other prominent Australian actors including John Jarratt of Wolf Creek fame, Wendy Hughes, Leonard Teale, Ray Barrett, Peter Cummins of Sunday Too Far Away, John Meillon of "Crocodile" Dundee fame, Megan Williams of The Sullivans fame, John Ewart, Judy Morris, Vincent Ball of A Town Like Alice, Jason Donovan's father Terry, Serge Lazaraff of Cash and Company fame, Peta Toppano, and David Gulpilil. The series was shot in English and Sascha Hehn was dubbed by Australian actor Andrew Harwood .

On safari at the Masai Mara game preserve in Kenya with Teddy Roosevelt, Indy becomes lost in the vast and dangerous wilderness. Later, in Paris, he explores the fine-art scene and the rather wilder cafe scenes of Montmartre with a young Norman Rockwell.

Unfortunately, he also crosses paths with up-and-coming thug Al Capone and it's only with the assistance of his dorm roommate, future Untouchable Eliot Ness, that Indy is able to solve a vicious murder and prevent himself from ending up in a pair of cement overshoes.

Ireland's bloody 1916 Easter Uprising, the suffragette movement in England, a Zeppelin raid, and a meeting with a rising young British cabinet member named Winston Churchill become vivid vignettes in Indy's life. So too do his brief but impassioned romances with the sister of a clandestine Irish rebel, and with an English suffragette for whom the vote comes before love.
