Biography

Amy Hobby is a co-founder of Distribution Advocates, where she oversees the Film-Ade Fund. Film-ADE provides grants for innovation in audience building for US theatrical and non-theatrical releases. Hobby previously served as the Executive Director of the nonprofit Tribeca Film Institute from 2016-2020. She is also an Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning producer whose films have premiered at Sundance, Berlin, Cannes, SXSW, Tribeca, Telluride (among other festivals).
