A couple is traveling to the danish island Bornholm to clean up the girls late fathers house. She hasn't been speaking to him for several years, so the arrival to the house opens old scars. Meanwhile, it seems like someone... or something, doesn't want them in the house.
Malthe is depressed. His sister has moved in with him as she has no place to live and her annoying boyfriend has almost moved in too. Malthe just wants to be alone. But when he gets involved in a violent episode in a kiosk, he has to make a choice... Will he be passive as always - or will he act.
Jacob, aged 22, navigates his way through everyday situations, constantly accompanied by Anxiety, an intrusive and manipulative presence that only he can see. When Jacob is reunited with Mille, a girl from his past, he is forced to confront the voice that has controlled his life. In a surreal inner journey where fantasy and reality merge, Jacob learns that anxiety cannot be eradicated—but it can be faced, named and lived with. The film blends realism, humour and visual metaphor to explore vulnerability, mental health and the courage it takes to let someone see who you really are.
Axel's best friend Bosse is moving to Australia, because of his dad's work, this makes Axel very sad, as he now embarks on a journey to find new friends.
