The life of 20-year-old Nico from upper class Zurich is all party, sex and drugs when she meets Paco, the front man of a rap band. She finds herself drawn to his independent, creative and profound way of life, so different from her own. With naiveté and infinite self-confidence, she tries to adopt his lifestyle - without anticipating the consequences.

During the WW2, a Swiss mountain farmer, refuses to follow the government policy to increase self-sufficiency with produce. In his opinion, the steep mountain pastures are not suited for agriculture. Most of the villagers agree. However some begin to cultivate. Even after all his fellow farmers have given in and have started to plant cops, Tanner continues his opposition and ignores all letters and instructions. This leads to a series of reprimands, for instance, some of his hay is seized and his wife cannot buy at the local grocer's since the family won't comply with the government policy.

In this poetic and mystical work, light itself takes center stage and tells its story through images rather than words. At five different locations, various light sources come to life, accompanied by music, and interact with one another. The film uses unusual artificial light and sound installations as well as elements of expressive dance to present the diverse expressive possibilities of the visual arts. Without a continuous plot, but full of anecdotal, condensed scenes, a fascinating and challenging narrative unfolds.
