Petra, a young, just graduated economist returns to her native village Lokvica to take part in illegal business of smothering tobacco and other goods over the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by her grandmother Zorka.

The plot of the series takes us to Zaglav, the road to the remote area divides Zaglav into two opposing camps, on one side is the Macan family, newly rich and guest workers, and two opposing camps. All three families are connected by a godfather and interest will clash in the race for money and decide the fate of the place.

In Savamala, the most notorious part of Belgrade, lives an eighteen-year-old young man. In this turbulent atmosphere, different passions collide, and there are hints that the bloody strikes are a prelude to a major battle. The young man tries to escape from the slums and live in a better society. He falls in love and draws comics, while Savamala offers him the misery of everyday life, the world of criminals, gamblers, anarchists, singers and failed poets.
