The Raders are a normal middle-class American family on the run hiding from the legal system that unjustly accused Paul Rader of a terrible and violent crime. Adding to the danger, the real killer is now threatening the lives of the Rader children.

A headstrong animal-rights activist group plans a raid on a bio-tech company to stop the cruelty. They discover the true nature of the experiments that are really taking place. As they break into a biotech lab only to have their idealism crushed by the terrifying things they find inside. But when a genetically mutated human with a taste for human flesh gets released, they all struggle to survive!

The story of the "The Fools and Bastards Club," a group of ten close friends who made a pact in high school to reunite every December 31st to ring in the new year together. Eight years later, what started as a simple party has evolved into a sacred tradition which preserves friendships that have otherwise grown apart. However, this year, one of the core members has mysteriously disappeared, leaving the rest to struggle with what has happened. At the center are Penny and William and a secret linked to their friend's disappearance, which could easily tear the group apart for good. Ultimately, they must decide what is more important, keeping the dark truth to themselves or keeping the "The Fools and Bastards" together.

Lifelong friends Danny and Mark, both seventeen, struggle with the awkwardness of saying goodbye the night before Danny leaves for university in the city. Mark will stay behind to work on his father's farm, hoping someday to buy some land of his own.
