Office lady Kumiko is having an affair with her boss. But when she discovers his wife is an alien, she must learn karate to survive.
This action-comedy follows Shoko, a college student with no interest in fashion, who undergoes a glamorous transformation with magical lipstick and confronts a trio of arrogant, fashionable girls.
Hiroko Hoshi, an office lady with a pathological love for picking up trash, encounters TOKYO SOYLENT GREEN, a volunteer group cleaning parks for the Tokyo Olympics, and joins their activities. Eventually, she becomes entangled in a conflict between a gang of delinquents who vandalize the parks and TOKYO SOYLENT GREEN, and in the process, her true nature as a trash-collecting person awakens.
"Puruncho," a drink that's all the rage, is the subject of a new story. Yukiko, invited by her friend Shinko, joins the Anti-Puruncho Alliance, a group advocating for the abolition of Puruncho. Yukiko's "Anti-Puruncho Alliance Theme" is sung loudly during the demonstrations. However, pressure from the establishment suppresses their movement.
