The Ghaliboun is a Lebanese series, part of which is based on real events that occurred in Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war

Maraya Al-Zaman (2020) follows Ragheb, whose life unravels after he is wrongly accused following a destructive fire at his family’s warehouse. As he fights to clear his name and recover from the fallout, buried secrets within his family and community begin to surface. The arrival of a mysterious woman intensifies existing tensions, exposing betrayal, corruption, and long-suppressed conflicts. What unfolds is a steadily escalating story of revenge, fractured trust, and emotional breakdown across intertwined lives.

Jawad Ibrahim, a member of the resistance, and his wife, Dr. Kawthar Ali, are looking for their real son and the family of the child, Ali, who got switched with their real son because of a hospital error, this is in parallel with the conflict between enemy's intelligence and the resistance.

The plot focuses on the social life and the period of resistance of an occupied village in Southern Lebanon from 1996 to 1999, and how its people fought and struggled against the occupation.
